Farmers' Market Frenzy
This game was developed for the GameDev.tv Game Jam 2024 based on the theme "Last Stand." Web-based version works, but if you have issues, either try a different browser (such as Chrome) or play the Windows build.
UPDATE:
- Major Fix: Fixed a selection issue which caused placement issues. We weren't going to update until end of voting but given it actually seems to be impacting the experience we have decided to do this now.
- Minor fix: Language dropdown options were unreadable

I don't remember if I mentioned it, but you'er aloud to fix bugs at anytime
We actually fixed a selection bug which created this new one haha. Since the game is still playable, we're just gonna wait till the end to update! Thanks though!
I get mixed signals with the fixing bugs thing. I thought it was major/game breaking bugs, not just all bugs?
Oh yah! Definetely mixed signals.
But this is on th Jam page:
Q: Can I edit my game once I submit?
You can fix game breaking bugs in your submission and upload those. If your game is unpleasant or unplayable due to technical issues, we want you to fix those! You just cant add new features or gameplay. or things like that.
The part about the game being "unpleasant or unplayable" was my best guide. And also, "You just cant add new features or gameplay. or things like that." is pretty clear.
I tried to get clarification on certain issues we had with really bad balance in our game because it just got boring if you made it past the 4 wave because it didn't get any more difficult. Never heard back so we made the judgement call to go ahead with the fix.
I wonder if they edited the unpleasant, or if Im blind. When I looked I thought it just say unplayable + game breaking, oops. I had also asked the discord the response i got was "typically I only do fixes the first day of voting or major issues". I wish they just said you could fix bugs and not make it sound complicated. Damn, ahh well, live and learn. Thanks ^.^
It's there. It the last question on this page: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2024

You had me worried, I thought I paraphrased. 😊
I usually try to quote.
Haha, sorry I meant that I believed you - but I never saw it previously! could've sworn it wasnt haha but thank you xD
i really enjoyed the old school plants vs zombies kind of dynamic, the sound effects feel pretty old school, pretty good visuals and art. Overall i loved it and think it can become even better.
Thank you for playing and the kind words! ^.^
Nice game. Fun to play. Graphics and sounds fit nicely together.
Thank you so much! ^.^
